I designed the Luanne Cardi to be a fun transitional piece to take from these chilly winter days straight into the more sunshiny days of March and beyond.

For Panel two, skip 6 (6, 6) sts on the top edge from the left of the first panel. Join yarn and work the second panel as you did the first.
Assembly:
Fold your piece so that the right sides are facing in. Line up the edges and seam together from the bottom edging to 7 (8, 9) inches from top. I like to hold my edges together with stitch markers as show below.
Sleeves:
Your st count for sleeves is not crucial, and may vary depending on your armhole depth from seaming.
Join yarn in bottom of armpit as shown below. Ch 1.
R 1: Sc evenly around armhole, working 1 st into each hdc row and 3 st into each tc row. Join with slst to first st. Ch 1, turn.
R 2: Hdc in each st around. Join with slst to first st. Ch 3, turn.
R 3: Tc in each st around. Join with slst to first st. Ch 1, turn.
R 4: Hdc in each st around. Join with slst to first st. Bind off.
Repeat for second sleeve.
Finishing:
With wrong side facing you, join yarn in bottom right inside corner and work one row of sc up the inside edge, across the neck space, and down the other side.
Space as you did with the sleeves, working 1 st in hdc rows and 3 sts in tc rows.
Bind off and weave in all ends.
