So my original plan for the Faded April Showers Wrap was to release it in April. Here we are in June – and obviously that didn’t happen! So while it’s keeping the same name I had originally intended – it’s my June baby now.
For this shawl I used Stroll yarn from WeCrochet. This fingering weight yarn is available in a lot of cool colorways and types – from handpainted to tonal to tweed to solids. They even have bare Stroll you can dye yourself!
I used a gradient pack they sell all together – the Bayou Fade – but you can mix and match any fingering weight yarn. You will need about 1250 yards total for this pattern. I used 5 colors and have broken out the yardage requirements for each in the materials section below. However – feel free to switch it up with three color or four colors – whatever you like! If you choose to use fewer colors, then just do your fade sections at the spot most appropriate for your desired fade.
Let’s get on to the pattern. While I will always have this absolutely FREE version up on my blog, I also sell premium PDFs on Ravelry. These PDFs are ad free, printable, and low cost.
