Fall is finally in the air! This week in Kansas we’ve been having temps in the 40s and I won’t lie – I am loving it! The kids are back to school (well sort of, my daughter is doing remote) and it feels like the longest summer ever is finally over.

One of my favorite fall accessories is a squishy cowl. They can really switch up the look of a simple outfit. I made the Blake Cowl with the Everyday Mini Set from KT and the Squid. I absolutely love the muted rainbow colors in this mini set. Using simple yet delicate stitches and fun striping techniques, the Blake Cowl is a fun, fall ready project. Arrange your Everyday Minis in whatever order you prefer for a colorful cowl that is 100% you.

If you’d like, you can sub any fingering weight mini skeins in your stash. How awesome would this cowl look in rich fall tones or bright jewels? The choices are really endless!

  • Instructions written in parenthesis ( ) indicate all the sts are worked in the same st, ex (sc, ch 1, dc), work the entire combination in one st.
