Mandy Cardi – Free Crochet Pattern

How’s everyone doing? Wow, it has really been a difficult couple of weeks, hasn’t it? Crochet has always been an outlet/escape for me, and right now I am so happy to have this hobby. It keeps my hands and mind occupied at a time when we are spending all of our days homebound.

When I was designing the Mandy Cardi, I wanted to be sure to use a yarn that would hold up for a long time. Machine washable was a must, as was durability and budget friendliness. You may remember that last winter I made a pair of mittens with Premier Yarn Anti Pilling. Luckily, Premiere also makes a DK version of that same yarn – which is what I chose for the Mandy Cardi. Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday DK yarn comes in over 70 colorways! I settled on Rose for this cardigan.

The Mandy Cardi is an easy cardigan pattern. It involves simple stitches, minimal shaping, and only a small amount of seaming.
